TAKING WHAT IS OURS

"We have a tradition in our family that when each of our daughters reaches a certain age, she gets a puppy. When our third daughter, Chloe, got her puppy, it came into a house already filled with dogs.

Chloe named her 3-pound poodle Angel. Angel was the sweetest puppy...until another dog touched something that belonged to her! It didn't matter that she was smaller and younger than the other dog, it was her property and she knew it. Angel wasn't going to let another dog have what was rightfully hers!

I believe it's time for the body of Christ to be like Ch(l)oe's dog and take what is rightfully ours. You have a Bible right to the peace, well-being, and wholeness Jesus purchased on the Cross.

Isaiah 53:5 AMP says Christ was wounded for our transgression. he was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

Jesus suffered and died in our place. He conquered satan(sic) once and for all. That means Jesus has already purchased our healing and wholeness. It's already done! Now it's up to us to lay claim to what God has promised us. We do that by agreeing with the Word of God and declaring it over our lives and the lives of our loved ones on a daily basis. As we claim God's promises, we can live in victory in every area of our lives."

ON DOCTRINE NOTE:
The Toronto Blessing phenomenon allows people to laugh like a hyena and bark like a dog, now Christians are to act like a dog as well.

Apparently, Jesus Christ has the healing for every Christian in His possession, but He is miserly when it comes to dispensing it, unlike salvation which He gives at will. But unlike salvation, which is part of the atonement, healing is also claimed to be part of the atonement, but it is not received in the same manner as salvation. Salvation is a work and gift of grace from God and Jesus Christ, but healing is a work on the part of the individual, requiring that certain specifics be accomplished in order for it to occur, i.e., (1) all doubt must be changed to certainty, (2) fear must be eliminated and (3) faith must be exercised. At that point and only at that point is Jesus Christ able to grant healing, and in fact, He must grant healing because He is bound by laws that mandate that He do so.

The key issue in the equation is the application of faith which a person must acquire, and the teaching in Word of Faith circles is that faith can be obtained through the concept of Seed Faith, which means that it can actually be bought with money. Giving your money to a ministry (your "best seed," meaning the biggest offering you can possibly give), will not only return faith which can be applied to a person's healing, the "seed gift" will also be returned to the giver along with a multiplication of interest, such as a one-hundredfold return, which will be given by God. Now that is a deal: have your body healed and become rich, simply by giving your money to a ministry.
