A brief glimpse of what to expect during the Shepherds' Conference, including info on the keynote speakers.

We are pleased to have Albert Mohler, Steve Lawson, Rick Holland, Phil Johnson and Tom Pennington joining Pastor MacArthur in declaring the truth of God's Word.

Dr. John F. MacArthur Pastor/Teacher, Educator, Author, Host of Conference	Dr. John F. MacArthur, Jr. has been the pastor/teacher of Grace Community Church since 1969. He is currently the president of the Master's College, Newhall, California and also founder and president of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley, California. He is the president and featured speaker on the Grace To You, radio program which airs more than 800 times daily, reaching the United States, Canada, Europe, India, New Zealand, the Philippines and South Africa. In the last thirty years, Grace to You has distributed more than 11 million audio cassettes. John has authored more than seventy books, including The Gospel According to Jesus, The MacArthur New Testament Commentary series, Twelve Ordinary Men, and The MacArthur Study Bible. John and his wife, Patricia, have four grown children, and thirteen grandchildren.
Dr. R. Albert Mohler Kentucky Educator - Author	Dr. R. Albert Mohler earned his B.A. at Samford University, and his M.Div. and Ph.D. at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Mohler became the ninth president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in August, 1993. Prior to assuming the office of president, Dr. Mohler served as editor of the Christian Index, the newspaper for Georgia Baptists. He also previously served as Assistant to the President at Southern Seminary. A leader among Baptists and American evangelicals, Dr. Mohler is widely respected as a theologian, speaker, and author. His writings have appeared in several books and journals including Here We Stand!: A Call from Confessing Evangelicals and The Coming Evangelical Crisis. Dr. Mohler is often quoted in leading newspapers and national news programs as a voice for conservative Christianity. He is, likewise, a sought-after lecturer at colleges, universities, and seminaries. He and his wife Mary Ann have two children.
Dr. Steven Lawson Alabama Pastor/teacher - Author	Dr. Steven Lawson is the senior pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Lawson serves on the board of directors of The Master’s College and Seminary and the ministerial board for Reformed Theological Seminary and teaches with Dr. John MacArthur at the Expositor’s Institute. In addition to his pulpit ministry, Dr. Lawson has written ten books, including Faith under Fire, Made in Our Image, and Famine in the Land: A Passionate Call to Expository Preaching. He and his wife, Anne, have four children: Andrew, James, Grace Anne, and John.
Dr. Rick Holland California Pastor/teacher - Educator	Dr. Rick Holland serves as both senior associate pastor and college pastor at Grace Community Church. He is the director of the doctor of ministries program and a faculty associate in homiletics at The Master’s Seminary. Rick is also the founder and executive director of the Resolved Conference. Dr. Holland has earned degrees from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (B.S.), The Master’s Seminary (M.Div.), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.). Rick and his wife, Kim, have three sons.
Phil Johnson California Pastor/teacher	Phil Johnson is the executive director of Grace to You. He has been closely associated with John MacArthur since 1981 and edits most of John’s major books. But he may be best known for several popular websites he maintains, including The Spurgeon Archive, Pyromaniacs, and The Hall of Church History. Phil has a bachelor’s degree in theology from Moody Bible Institute and was an editor at Moody Press before coming to Grace Church. Phil and his wife, Darlene, have three adult sons
Tom Pennington Texas Pastor/teacher	Tom Pennington has served as the senior pastor of Countryside Bible Church in Southlake, Texas, since October 2003. His role involves teaching during Sunday services, overseeing the church staff, and serving as an elder. Before coming to Countryside, Tom served for 16 years at Grace Community Church in various roles. Most recently, he served as the Senior Associate Pastor and Personal Assistant to John MacArthur and as co-pastor of Sojourners, a Sunday-morning adult fellowship group. Before that, he was the managing director at Grace to You. Tom earned his B.A. and M.A. at Bob Jones University and served as a member of the faculty while taking additional Ph.D. classes in New Testament Interpretation. He and his wife, Sheila, have three children: Lauren, Katie, and Jessica.
