GOD HAD A BEGINNING
"We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity I will refute that
idea. ...god himself the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth the same as Jesus Christ himself
did..."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, 1844, Vol. 6,
p. 3.
"He [God] is our Father -- the Father of our spirits, and was once a man in mortal flesh as we
are, and is now an exalted being."

GOD HAD A FATHER AND MOTHER
"We were begotten by our father in heaven; the person of our Father in Heaven was
begotten on a previous heavenly world by His Father; and again, he was begotten by
a still more ancient Father, and so on from generation to generation, from one heavenly
world to another still more ancient..."
(LDS) Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, 1853, p. 132.
"Brother Kimbal quoted a saying of Joseph the Prophet, that he would not worship a god
who had not a Father; and I do not know that he would if he had not a mother; the one
would be as absurd as the other."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 9, p.
286.
". . . as the Prophet also taught, there is 'a God above the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ . . .'"
(LDS) Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1966, p. 322.
"Implicit in the Christian verity that all men are the spirit children of an Eternal Father is the
usually unspoken truth that they are also the offspring of an Eternal Mother. An exalted and
glorified Man of Holiness (Moses 6:57) could not be a Father unless a Woman of the
like glory, perfection, and holiness was associated with him as a Mother. The begetting of
children makes a man a father and a woman a mother whether we are dealing with man in his
mortal or immortal state."

everlasting to everlasting, You are God."

God ". . . is a personal Being, a holy and exalted man, a glorified, resurrected Personage
having a tangible body of flesh and bones, an anthropomorphic Entity . . ."
(LDS) Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1966, p. 250.
"The Gods who dwell in the heaven . . . have been redeemed from the grave in a world which
existed before the foundations of this earth were laid. They and the heavenly body which they

GOD IS NOT MARRIED
The Bible is silent regarding the issue of God having a wife or God having many wives. God never
mentions a marriage in heaven and Jesus Christ never addresses the issue, even though Mormons
consider marriage in heaven and polygamous marriages to be an absolute necessity in order to obtain
the
highest exaltation to godhood.
God never mentions marriage or polygamy in relation to exaltation in the Old Testament and Jesus
Christ never mentions marriage or polygamy in relation to exaltation in the New Testament. In point of
fact, Jesus Christ notes that there is no marriage whatsoever in heaven in relation to angels and human
beings:
"But Jesus answered and said to them, 'You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the
power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in
heaven.'"
Matthew 22:29-30 (NAS).

GOD CANNOT CREATE FROM NOTHING
"..god never had the power to create the spirit of man at all."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer, Joseph Smith, Journal of discourses, 1844, Vol. 6,
p. 7
"Further, latter-day prophets inform us that God did not create the earth out of nothing, as is
supposed by much of traditional Christianity today. The Prophet Joseph Smith taught: 'There is
no such thing as immaterial matter. All spirit is matter' (D&C 131:7; see also D&C 93:33). Elder
Orson Pratt of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles commented: 'The materials out of which this earth
was formed, are just as eternal as the materials of the glorious personage of the Lord himself. . . .
This being, when he formed the earth, did not form it out of something that had no existence, but he
formed it out of materials that had an existence from all eternity: they never had a beginning, neither will
one particle of substance now in existence ever have an end. There are just as many particles now
as there were at any previous period of duration, and will be while eternity lasts. Substance had no
beginning; . . . the earth was formed out of eternal materials, and it was made to be inhabited
and God peopled it with creatures of his own formation,'"

Perspective,"
Ensign, January 1998.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
Holy Bible, Genesis 1:1 (NAS)
"Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth
and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it . . ."
Holy Bible, Isaiah 42:5 (NAS)
"For thus says the Lord, wo created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He
established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), 'I am the Lord, and
there is none else.'"
Holy Bible, Isaiah 45:18 (NAS)
NOTE: Isaiah 45:18 says that God FIRST created and then SECOND formed the earth. He
did not form the earth from existing material as does the Mormon god, but He created the material from
which He then formed the earth.
"Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all
things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created."

how can they do it? Have they to go to that earth? Yes, an Adam will have to go there, and he
cannot do without Eve; he must have Eve to commence the work of generation, and they will

grosser matter is diffused sufficiently through their celestial bodies to enable them, according to the

JESUS CHRIST LIVED ON ANOTHER PLANET BEFORE COMING TO
EARTH
"Things were first created spiritually, the Father actually begat the spirits, and they were brought
forth and lived with Him. Then He commenced the work of creating earthly tabernacles, precisely as he
had been created in this flesh himself, by partaking of the course (sic) material that was organized and
composed this earth, until His system was charged with it, consequently the tabernacles of His children
were organized from the coarse materials of this earth. When the time came that His first born, the
Saviour, should come into the world and take a tabernacle, the Father came himself and favoured that
spirit with a tabernacle instead of letting any other man do it. The Saviour was begotten by the Father
of His spirit, by the same Being who is the Father of our spirits, and that is all the organic difference
between Jesus Christ and you and me."

JESUS CHRIST WAS PHYSICALLY CONCEIVED BY GOD THE
FATHER
"The birth of the Savior was a natural occurrence unattended with any degree of mysticism,
and the Father God was the literal parent of Jesus in the flesh as well as in the spirit."
Joseph Fielding Smith, Jr, Religious Truths Defined, p. 44.
"Christ was begotten of God. He was not born without the aid of Man, and that Man was
God!"
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation,
Vol. 1, p. 18.
"And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the
same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing
figurative about his paternity; he was begotten, conceived and born in the normal and natural
course of events."
(LDS) Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1979, p. 742.
NOTE: Mormons believe that God the Father procreated the spirit of Mary in time
passed on his planet by means of a literal, physical and sexual union with one of His wives. He
He also had a literal, physical and sexual union with Mary in order to father Jesus Christ, which
means that God the Father had an incestuous relationship with Mary in order to bring about the
birth of Jesus Christ. It is also claimed that God the Father was also married to Mary, which it
is claimed legitimizes the incestuous relationship. It is also apparent that God the Father
engaged in
polyandry** by marrying Mary who was already espoused to Joseph.
**Polyandry is defined as having two or more husbands at the same time. In the case
of Mary she would have been espoused to Joseph, which was considered to be a marriage, and
also married to God the Father. It is unknown by any Mormon prophet as to what temple the
marriage of God the Father and Mary took place by which it was legitimized, because
marriages were not performed in the Jewish temple.

BIBLE
JESUS CHRIST WAS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
"The angel answered and said to her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most
High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy child shall be called the So of God.'"
Holy Bible, Luke 1:35 (NAS)
"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. . . . But when he had
considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, 'Joseph, son of
David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the child who has been conceived in her is of the
Holly Spirit.'"
Holy Bible, Matthew 1:18, 20 (NAS)
NOTE: Mormons reject a Trinitarian godhead and postulate a singular personage of god with
a physical body and the ability to procreate by sexual union. As a consequence they are left with the
only possible manner in which Jesus Christ could have been conceived and that is by an immoral,
incestuous relationship of God the Father with his own daughter Mary and shatters the biblical claim
that Mary was still a virgin after her conception. Orthodox Christians are not faced with that difficulty,
because they do not believe that the conception of Jesus Christ was a sexual act, but was a creative act
by which the Holy Spirit as an equal and representative member of the singular godhead caused to exist
within the womb of Mary the elements of the physical body of Jesus Christ, which also preserves the
claim that Mary was a virgin even after her conception.
Mormons attempt to justify the actions of their god by stating that he married Mary, therefore the
sexual act was legal, however, since Mary then married Joseph after the birth of Jesus Christ, she
then became a polyanderer because she was married to two husbands at the same time. Even if
Mormons could produce Scriptural evidence of a marriage between their god and Mary, which they
cannot, that would not change the incestuous nature of his conduct The second attempt to justify the
actions of their god, causes Mormons to propose that he can declare his act to be moral or immoral
depending on the circumstances. That is the reasoning that they use to claim that David and Solomon
were justified for practicing polygamy. The conflict between that belief and the fact that the Book of
Mormon condemns David and Solomon for polygamy is said to be resolved by the claim that in
one
instance they engaged in that conduct on their own, which was condemned, while on the other hand
they engaged in that conduct by the direct command of God by which they were justified. The
Mormon
god changes his own moral code at will in order to cover his own actions.

JESUS CHRIST BECAME A GOD IN THE PRE-EXISTENCE
"During his pre-mortal life Jesus Christ rose to the status of Godhood. At that time he was
foreordained to be the Savior of this world. Father Abraham was privileged to see in vision
the grand council in heaven that was held prior to the peopling of this earth, and he saw, as
the Lord showed him, 'many of the noble and great ones.'"
(LDS) Milton R. Hunter, of the First Council of the Seventy, LDS Conference Report,
October 1949, p. 69.
NOTE: It is a mystery how Jesus Christ could have achieved godhood during the time
of His pre-existent life, since He had not as yet gone through the successive experiences that
the Mormon church says are absolutely necessary to be qualified to attain that position. Jesus Christ
obtained His godhood prior to living His mortal life, prior to being married (without being married in
the Temple), prior to having children, prior to having a polygamous relationship, prior to His physical
death and prior to His resurrection. The same problem exists in relation to the Holy Ghost, who never
obtained a mortal body, but also became a god in His pre-existent life. LDS theology has no
explanation as to how Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit obtained their godhoods, when God the Father
had to go through the full course of successive experiences in the "Eternal Progression" to obtain His
godhood.

JESUS CHRIST IS NOT RELATED BY PATERNITY TO SATAN OR
HUMAN BEINGS
Jesus Christ existed as part of the Trinitarian godhead from eternity, therefore He was not
procreated by means of a sexual union between God the Father and Mary, and is not a part
of the human race from that standpoint. In Orthodox Christian theology, the spirits of human
beings are not procreated sexually by a union between God the Father and His many wives, but they
are created. Jesus Christ was neither procreated or created.
Satan was a created angelic being, therefore he is not related to human beings.

THE BRIDE OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE CHURCH
"For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I

2 Corinthians 11:2 (NAS)
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that
He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present
to Himself the church, in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be
holy and blameless. So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. he who loves
his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as
Christ also does the church, because we are members of his body. For this reason a man shall leave his

Presidency of the Church. . . they said that 'man, as a spirit, was begotten and born of heavenly
parents, and reared to maturity in the eternal mansions of the Father,' that man is the 'offspring of
celestial parentage,' and that 'all men and women are in the similitude of the universal Father and
Mother, and are literally the sons and daughters of Deity.'"
(LDS) Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1979, p. 516.

THE SPIRITS OF MANKIND ARE CREATED AT BIRTH AND MANKIND
CAN BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD BY ADOPTION
"Then the Lord formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and
man became a living soul."
Holy Bible, Genesis 2:7 (NAS)
"If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So also it is written, 'The first man, Adam,
became a living soul.' The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but
the natural; then the spiritual."
Holy Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:44b-46
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those
who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,
but of God."
Holy Bible, John 1:12-13 (NAS)
"For all who are being led by the Spirit of god, these are sons of god. For you have not received a spirit
of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out,
'Abba! Father!'"
Holy Bible, Romans 8:14-15 (NAS)
"For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ
have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man,
there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then
you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise."
Holy Bible, Galatians 3:26-29 (NAS)
"But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so
that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, 'Abba! Father!'
Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God."
Holy Bible, Galatians 4:4-7 (NAS)

MANKIND CAN ATTAIN TO
GODHOOD IN THE NEXT LIFE
"There is a statement often repeated in the church, and while it is not in one of the Standard
Church Works, it is accepted as Church doctrine, and this is: 'As ,an is, God once was; as God is, man
may become,'"
(LDS) Apostle LeGrand Richards in a letter to Morris L. Reynolds, dated July 14, 1966 (as
quoted in the Salt Lake City Messenger #87, November 1994.
"Brethren, 225,000 of you are here tonight. I suppose 225,000 of you may become gods.
There seems to be plenty of space out there in the universe. And the Lord has proved that he knows
how to do it. I think he could make, or probably have us help make, worlds for all of us, for every one
of us 225,000.
Just think of the possibilities, the potential. Every little boy that has just been born becomes an
heir to this glorious, glorious program. When he is grown, he meets a lovely woman; they are married in
the holy temple. They live all the commandments of the Lord. They keep themselves clean. And then
they become sons of God, and then they go forward with their great programthey go beyond
the angels and the gods that are waiting there. They go to their exaltation."

Priesthood," Ensign, November 1975.

MANKIND CANNOT ATTAIN TO
GODHOOD IN THE NEXT LIFE
"God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; has He said, and will He
not do it? Or has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it
good?"
Numbers 23:19 (NAS)
"Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His
mind "
1 Samuel 15:29 (NAS)
NOTE: Since God says that He is not now a man, and is not descended as a son of a man
(Numbers 23:19), then His statement directly opposes the Mormon claims that God is an exalted man,
that He is the progeny of another exalted man and that He was once a literal, physical man.

MANKIND PROCREATE CHILDREN IN THE NEXT LIFE
". . . the Gods were to be parents of spirit children just as our Heavenly Father and Mother

(LDS) Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel Through the Ages, 1958, 9. 20.
"What blessing is available only to those who are exalted in the highest degree of the celestial
kingdom? (See D&C 131:4; 132:19-20. You may need to explain that the phrases 'an increase'

POLYGAMY IS A NECESSARY PRACTICE IN ORDER TO OBTAIN EXALTATION
AND GODHOOD
"From the . . . Revelation, given through Joseph, the Seer, it will be seen that God has actually
commanded some of his servants {the Mormon Priesthood} to take more wives, and... if they
refused to obey this command, after having the law revealed to them, they should be damned.
This revelation, then, makes it a matter of conscience among all the latter-Day Saints; and they
embrace it as a part and portion of their religion, and verily believe that they cannot be saved and
reject it."
(LDS) Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 13, 1853.
"Some quietly listen to those who speak... against the plurality of wives, and against almost
every principle that God has revealed. Such persons have half-a-dozen devils with them all the time.
You might as well deny "Mormonism", and turn away from it, as to oppose the plurality of
wives. Let the Presidency of this Church, and the Twelve Apostles, and all the authorities unite and say
with one voice that they will oppose the doctrine, and the whole of them will be damned."
(LDS) Heber C. Kimball, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 5, p. 203, 1856.
"Now if any of you will deny the plurality of wives and continue to do so, I promise that you will
be damned..."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham young, Deseret News, November 14,
1855.
"We are told that if we would give up polygamy--which we know to be a doctrine revealed from
heaven, and it is of God and the world for it--but suppose this Church should give up this holy
order of marriage, then would the devil, and all who are in league with him against the cause of
God, rejoice that they had prevailed upon the Saints to refuse to obey one of the revelations and
commandments of God to them... Will the latter-day Saints do this? No; they will not to please
anybody."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, p. 239,
June 3, 1866.
"The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of God, are those who enter into
polygamy. ...I heard the revelation on polygamy, and I believe it with all my heart, and I know it
is from God..."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, p. 269,
August 19, 1866.
"Some people have supposed that the doctrine of plural marriage was a sort of superfluity, or
nonessential to the salvation of mankind. In other words, some of the Saints have said, and
believe that a man with one wife, sealed to him by the authority of the priesthood for time and eternity,
will receive an exaltation as great and glorious, if he is faithful, as he possibly could with more
than one. I want here to enter my protest against this idea, for I know it is false... Therefore,
whoever has imagined that he could obtain the fullness of the blessing pertaining to this celestial
law, by complying with only a portion of its conditions, has deceived himself. He cannot do it.
When that principle was revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith,... he did not falter, although it
was not until an angel of God, with a drawn sword, stood before him and commanded that he should
enter into the practice of that principle, or he should be utterly destroyed, or rejected...
I understand the law of celestial marriage to mean that every man in this Church, who has the
ability to obey and practice it in righteousness and will not, shall be damned, I say I understand it
to mean this and nothing less, and I testify in the name of Jesus that it does mean
that."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Joseph Fielding Smith, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 20, pp.
28 - 31, 1878.

"Deacons must be husbands of only one wife, and good managers of their children and their own
households."
Holy Bible, 1 Timothy 3:12 (NAS)

"BLOOD ATONEMENT" DOCTRINE:
SOME SINS CANNOT BE COVERED BY THE ATONEMENT SO A
PERSON MUST COMMIT SUICIDE
OR HAVE ANOTHER PERSON
(MORMON) TAKE THEIR LIFE BY
SHEDDING BLOOD
"It is true that the blood of the Son of god was shed for sins through the fall and those
committed by men, yet men can commit sins which it can never remit."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p.
54, 1856
"There is not a man or woman, who violates the covenants made with their god, that will not be
required to pay the debt. The blood of Christ will never wipe that out, your own blood must atone for
it..."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 3, p.
247, 1856
"I know when you hear my brethren telling about cutting people off from the earth, that you
consider it is strong doctrine, but it is to save them not to destroy them... I know there are
transgressors, who, if they knew themselves, and the only condition upon which they can obtain
forgiveness, would beg of their brethren to shed their blood, that the smoke thereof might ascend to
God as an offering to appease the wrath that is kindled against them, and that the law might have its
course."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer president Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses,
Vol. 4, p. 53
"Men, who have been warned and forewarned, but who will associate with the wicked and
take a course to commit whoredom...with a view to gratify their cursed passions; we will take them and
slay them before this people."br>
(LDS) Heber C. Kimball, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p. 173, 1857
"This is loving our neighbor as ourselves; if he needs help, help him; and if he wants salvation
and it is necessary to spill his blood on the earth in order that he may be saved, spill it."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p.
220, 1857.
"Let me suppose a case. Suppose you find your brother in bed with your wife and put a javelin
through both of them, you would be justified, and they would atone for their sins, and be
received into the kingdom of God. I would at once do so in such a case; and under such
circumstances, I have no wife whom I love so well that I would not put a javelin through her
heart, and I would do it with clean hands."
(LDS) Prophet, president and seer Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 3, p.
247, 1856.
"I could refer you to plenty of instances where men have been righteously slain, in order to
atone for their sins."
(LDS) Prophet and President Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p.
220, 1857.
NOTE: Some of those sins are: murder, adultery, immorality, stealing, using the name of the
Lord in vain, marriage to a person of the black race, covenant breakers, apostasy, lying,
counterfeiting, condemning Joseph Smith or consenting to his death. The simple fact is, if the sin of
lying requires that a person be killed to atone for his own sins, then every single Mormon is required
to shed their own blood to atone for that sin, since there is no human being, either Mormon or
otherwise, who has never lied.

BIBLE
HUMAN BEINGS CANNOT ATONE FOR THEIR OWN SINS. ONLY JESUS
CHRIST HAS THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO ATONE FOR SIN.
It is apparent from biblical Scriptures that human beings do not have the ability or power
to justify themselves in the presence of a Holy God and do not have the ability or power to
remove the penalty for their own sins by means of their conduct or the shedding or their own blood,
which was the reason that Jesus Christ came to die. The biblical Scripture states that human beings
are already dead in their sins, unable to respond to God or atone for those sins.
"And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the
course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in
the sons of disobedience.
Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of
the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which he loved us, even when we were
dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and
raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages
to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a
result of works, so that no one may boast."
Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:1-8 (NAS).
". . . but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and
the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we confess or sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness."
Holy Bible, 1 John 1:7, 9 (NAS).
"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness
and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the
blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God ad Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave
Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own
possession, zealous for good deeds."
Holy Bible, Titus 2:11-14 (NAS).

LDS
SALVATION IS DEFINED AS RESURRECTION IN THE NEXT LIFE
Mormons define salvation (resurrection) as two types:
1. General Salvation, 2. Personal Salvation
GENERAL SALVATION is actually a Universal Salvation and applies to all human beings,
even those who are not Mormons, because all human beings will be resurrected in the next life to
occupy one of the three levels of the Mormon heaven.
PERSONAL SALVATION applies to Mormons only and not only guarantees resurrection, it
also involves some measure of "exaltation" in which a person is elevated to one of the higher levels in
heaven, and for the most faithful Mormons, entrance into the highest Celestial level of heaven
where they will obtain their godhood.
