Bob Larson has primarily a radio, speaking and publishing ministry in which he deals almost exclusively with demons and witchcraft. He considers himself an expert in those fields. He also has a TV program on the TBN network which is essentially a copy of his radio program.

In his radio and speaking ministry, he relies on the premise that people who are demon possessed will call in to his radio show and come to his speaking engagements, where they are confronted by Bob Larson and exposed to the public as being demon possessed.

As a result of the manner in which he has conducted his ministry, he has received great scrutiny and criticism from both the religious and secular world. To the secular world, he is a joke, and to the religious world, he is either an embarrassment or an accepted brother, depending on one's point of view. To the discerning mind, he is a false religious teacher.

Instead of simply ignoring his critics or providing answers to the specific allegations leveled against him, he has posted a notice on his website as follows:

SPECIAL NOTICE... In your effort to locate our web site, you may have encountered other sites devoted to attacking our ministry. Be aware that these sites contain misinformation, disinformation, twisted facts and outright lies. Many of these accusations are sinister distortions of reality and fabrications designed to look truthful. Our response is that of Nehemiah: "I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you (Nehemiah 6:3)?" To those who maliciously malign our efforts to reach the lost for Christ and see those in demonic bondage set free, we respond as our Savior commanded us. We "pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44).

Placing himself behind a shield of supposed Biblical conduct, he continues to leave unanswered the many claims that have been made against him, and leave unexplained his many unusual actions, the source of his lavish lifestyle and the contradictions in his statements about himself and his ministry. Instead of responding appropriately, he accuses others of engaging in a programs of "misinformation, disinformation, twisted facts and outright lies," but provides no examples and does not respond to any of the supposed fraudulent claims. If the claims of his detractors are false, then Bob Larson should show them to be so with the facts that he claims to have.

The entire emphasis of Bob Larson's ministry centers around the subject of demons and demon possession. His latest project is a seminar which is designed to:
"...offer continuing education and training to equip those interested in furthering their knowledge of inner healing and deliverance. In addition, those seeking aftercare to recover from demonization will find a nurturing environment and instruction regarding how to stay free after being set free."

"Module I: Training - How to expose Satanic Ritual Abuse and minister to its victims
Aftercare - Recovery for victims of abuse
Module II: Training - How to confront witchcraft, paganism, and false religions
Aftercare - Healing for those with MPD & DID"
Quotes from Bob Larson Ministries Website
These seminars are "...in cooperation with Do What Jesus Did (DWJD)..." and Bob Larson Ministries. Since Bob Larson Ministries and DWJD are both Bob Larson, it would appear that making the events look more important than they are is the intent of the statement. There are two, five-day seminars, Module I and Module II. Each five-day seminar session is $499.00 ($699.00 Canadian). DWJD Core Members (those who have paid a $4,000.00 donation to be a member) receive a 20% discount and the clergy receive a 10% discount. Apparently the clergy doesn't deserve as great a discount, probably because they haven't paid the $4,000.00.

Demonic possession and Satanic ritual abuse is assumed to be the norm in the everyday life of individuals and this is the approach that Bob Larson takes.

MAJOR ISSUES

It is very likely that Bob Larson has never encountered a real demon in his entire life. If he ever does, he will quickly find that all of his arrogant pontificating and silly tricks will have no effect, and, in fact, he will probably be scared stiff.

The following links deal with troublesome issues in relation to Bob Larson. On Doctrine does not necessarily approve of the manner in which the content of some of these articles are presented, however, the issues are raised and Bob Larson's actions and reactions are documented.
